Sampson Terms & Conditions

Use of this site means acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These rules apply to the editorial pages, links, search tools, and other services presented here.

This is a privately owned reference, with no government, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections affiliation. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides a consumer report or an FCRA-covered service.

Nature of the Website

The site stores no official Sampson County, NCDAC, court, federal, or ICE record. It cannot confirm live custody, release anyone, file a document, or act for an agency. It points to public resources and third-party research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly. They may not stalk, harass, threaten, gain unauthorized access, run automated scrapers, disrupt service, or use information for a prohibited decision.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Information may not be used for employment or hiring decisions, tenant or housing screening, creditworthiness, insurance, licensing, government-program eligibility, or another FCRA-covered purpose.

Links and Outside Services

Links may reach release records, sheriff and corrections pages, courts, legal resources, and outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. This site does not control their content, privacy practices, pricing, availability, or results, and users should review the provider’s own terms.

No Warranties

The site and its content are supplied “as is.” No warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that a partner search will be thorough. Custody and public records can change at any time. Nothing here is an official agency statement.

Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent North Carolina law allows, the site and its operators are not liable for damages arising from access, use, reliance, downtime, or an outside service. A user agrees to defend and hold them harmless from claims and reasonable legal fees arising from that user’s conduct or breach of these terms.

Ownership and Access

Original text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Sampson County Released Inmates or its content partners and may not be copied, distributed, or modified without written permission. Access may be restricted or revoked at any time and without notice.

Changes and Governing Law

Terms may change, and a revision takes effect when posted. North Carolina law governs these terms, and disputes must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in North Carolina. If one provision is invalid, the rest remain in force, and the affected provision is adjusted only as much as needed.
